In this short and well-written book is a complete revision of what has come to be accepted as the narrative of black American history. Not only do the facts debunk many accepted myths, but the history of the Democratic Party and black Americans is a real surprise for most of us.
Here it is, as Barton states; in Black and White, everything any honest black American needs to know to understand how he has been manipulated and deprived of the real story of his predecessors, and of which political party has always been on the right side of the Civil Rights struggle from the start. Suffice it to say that were it not for the Democrats' obstructionism and reversal of Republican efforts, most Civil Rights laws now on the books would have been a reality more than 50 years before they came to be.
